God’s Perspective

As we contemplate what it means to “Invite”, we become keenly aware of the deeper meanings within the context of God’s perspective.  An examination of God’s constant character reveals His ongoing demonstration of unrelenting goodness and love. 

Throughout the Bible, we discover He has woven a continuous thread of loving “invitation” – beckoning us into an intimate relationship with Him. It began in Genesis when God invited his creation into a tender and unguarded relationship. His invitation extends into His Great Love Story, continuously woven throughout the ages, a timeline of endless summons to follow Him.

As you read the contents within these pages, consider God’s perspective as identified in the list below.  What is He asking of us, as His followers and disciples?

1.  “Be My Witness”: My child, I call upon you to share your faith and personal testimony with others.

 2. “Extending My Invitation”:  I desire for all to know Me.  Explore ways to invite others into My presence and introduce them to My love.

  • What are some practical ways you can extend My invitation to others?

  • How can you create a welcoming environment that reflects My heart for newcomers?

3. “Demonstrating My Love”:  As My representative, it is crucial that you show love, compassion, and kindness to others, just as I have shown you.

  • How does treating others with love and respect draw them closer to Me?

  • What are some practical examples of demonstrating My love in your daily life?

4. “The Power of Personal Connection”:  I value the genuine relationships you build with others.  These connections can open doors to share My love and truth.

  • Why is it important to Me that you invest time in building relationships with others?

  • How can you naturally share your faith in Me through personal connections?

5. "Overcoming Fear and Objections": I understand the fears and objections that may hinder you from sharing your faith or inviting others into My presence. Trust in Me to guide you.

  • How can you overcome the fear of rejection when sharing your faith in Me?

  • What are some effective ways to address common objections to following Me?

6. "Partnering in Prayer": Your prayers for others and their spiritual journey are precious to Me. Never underestimate the power of intercession.

  • Why is lifting others up to Me through prayer crucial in bringing them into My embrace?

  • How can you incorporate praying for others into your daily communion with Me?

7. "Living as My Light": I have called you to live a life that exemplifies My teachings and values, attracting others to Me through your actions and choices.
